Vote now! AOS 2018 Officers and Elective Councilors Election

Dear AOS Member:

Voting in the annual elections of AOS Officers and Elective Councilors is an important way to engage in the American Ornithological Society. Online voting is now open for the American Ornithological Society offices of President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and four Elective Councilors.

We are using an online election system to tabulate our votes. You have been assigned a unique link to your ballot in an official email you should have received from AOS via “Election Buddy”. Your voting choices will remain anonymous. You will not be able to change your vote once your ballot is cast. Do not reply to the email to vote, as your vote will not be registered.

The polls close on March 16, 2018 05:00 pm Eastern Time (US & Canada). Election results will be announced in April at the AOS Annual Meeting in Tucson, AZ and via an email announcement to the AOS membership.

If you need assistance or require a paper ballot, please contact Chris Mulvaney, at

On behalf of the AOS Council, thank you for participating in the elections!
